Jackson's School

27/03/2023

This is Jackson the eldest of 7 children he lives in Samburuland with his family he dropped out of the final grade because the school fees are open and cannot continue to be paid. There is an amount of about 300.-Sfr./Euro. which is still to be paid and then the running fees for the next term until the end of the school term in January 2024 total from January 2023 to about 840.- Sfr./Euros. School fees still have to be payed. After that he would like to be able to do his "Abitur." His siblings are also all currently out of school because of the money and lack of food. We report in detail what the association is prepared to do for this family, since they do not live in our area in Kenya, but in Samburuland nevertheless we want to enable that the kids at least come to their school education which is very important in Kenya to get some general knowledge and learn to read and write. The Samburus are Maasai tribe and live in a completely different world, so we do not necessarily want to send them to a boarding school or bring them to the coast, but as far as possible help there on site. It seems that a further form of project aid is emerging in which we in the association will think about and discuss how it is possible to support the children in their families and give them a perspective. So we are looking forward to one or more sponsors and donors for the family of Jackson, which will amount exclusively to the school costs.
