School of Jackson and Nkopiron

This is Jackson, the eldest of seven children, he lives in Samburuland with his family, he has dropped out of the final grade because the school fees are open and cannot be paid any further. There is an amount of about 300 which is yet to be paid and then the ongoing fees for the next term until the end of the school term. In January 2024, his school term will end and he will be able to do his A-levels. Also his siblings except for the second youngest who goes to primary school in the village and lives with his mum, are all currently out of school because of lack of money and food. We report in detail what the club is willing to do for this family. Since they do not live in our area in Kenya but in Samburuland we would like to see that the kids come at least to their school education which in Kenya is just important to get some general knowledge and to learn to read and write. The Samburu are Maasai Tribe and live in a very different world and so we don't necessarily want to send them to a boarding school or bring them to our shores, but help them locally where possible. There seems to be a wider form of project support emerging where we in the club think about it and have a meeting to discuss what is possible and how it is possible to support the children in their family and give them a perspective. So we are looking forward to having one or more sponsors and donors for Jackson's family that will be solely for the school costs.
